You can make a note on an envelope transfer you can just never see it again, not even in the edit screen. There is a separate suggestion about this which they marked as "already exists" and posted a screen shot of a note being seen for a regular transaction not an envelope transfer. You CAN see notes in the edit screen of a regular credit or debit transaction you CANNOT see note in the edit screen (or anywhere else) for an envelopes transfer
