Inbox: show account balances

Show an available balance in the sum all of the accounts - if someone has multiple bank accounts, they have to manually add up totals to see the sum.

I would like to see both the total of Deposit (Bank and Cash) accounts, the total of all Credit (Credit Card or Debt) accounts, as well as the Net Worth (Deposits minus Credits). This could be either on the Home Screen or the Accounts Page.

The Envelopes Total shows on the Inbox Screen, above the Envelope Names, but the Accounts Screen does not show a Total. The Deposit Accounts Total should Equal the Envelopes Total. We shouldn't have to add it all up manually.

All of those should show on the Home Screen so that you can see at a glance that all of the accounts and envelopes are still in balance.

Please tweak the mobile app while you're at it. It only shows the Bank Balances for online accounts, not the Register Balance. Please show both or a toggle button like MV4 had.

So for me the most important part of this is that we have somewhere (anywhere really doesn't matter that much to me where, but as far as I can see this exists nowhere) to see a total of all accounts. So basically a net worth. Mv4 had this. I can't remember where, but you could see a list of all your accounts and the total. So I have 19 accounts....some checking, savings and credits cards. I want to see a total of all of those like before. So I know how much money I have, less my credit card balances and I can see my net worth. Currently I have to take screen shots of the account balances listing, type 19 balances into Excel and then total it myself or use a calculator. That is craziness and super annoying. I don't even care if it is a report as long as I don't have to use Excel or a calculator to add up 19 balances to get a net worth.

The way we're currently thinking of this is to re-work Home and Inbox so that Inbox is not the main place we spend our time--it's just "here's the new transactions to assign," and then it gets out of the way. Then Home (or whatever we call it) would have more of a dashboard of your current situation: accounts, envelopes (with a condensed view so you could actually see all/most envelopes at once 🎉 ), and likely some key financial health reports like net worth, debt to income level, goals, etc.

I'm interested in all of your thoughts around this concept!

PS - Sorry that some of these requests don't get a lot of responsiveness! We take the most popular one and work on that feature; so if a request is even just 3 or 4 deep, I may let it sit alone until we're in a position to work on it, and then we start to have internal discussions which eventually get us to this point of gathering more feedback and ideas from you all. Thanks for understanding that process as we push on ahead!

I just had to write down and add up 19 accounts to get a net worth balance. Bad enough the total isn't there like it was in MV4, but I can't even print them off and add up I have to actually write them all down first then add them all up with a calculator.

Any update on if this is planned?

Yes, Yes, and Yes - Please!

And Yes, I should be able to see my Net Worth in the Account Tab at the top right easily. Now, I have to get out the calculator and try to make sure my envelopes balance indeed matches my Spending Accounts balance. Very frustrating!

Please! I have 19 accounts. It is absolutely crazy that before I could easily see my net worth in the accounts tab and now I have to add up the balance of 19 accounts with a calculator. So annoying!
