When will this happen? I desperately need this. Every time my pay falls at the end of the month, it doesn't get brought into mvelopes until a few days later (the next month), and then I have to fund in the wrong month, which screws up the funding amounts for that next month. So this month (September) I'm looking at not being able to fund until after my 2nd payday in October and then I'll have to fund for two months (i.e., 5 paydays). So incredibly inconvenient and cumbersome, and barely worth keeping Mvelopes anymore especially since my bank account has not been syncing for 4 months and manual downloads bring in many many duplicates. Now my mvelopes sessions, instead of a fun drag and drop of transactions into their proper envelopes, are a marathon of fixing and backtracking. I refuse to add "pending transactions" to the mix.

any updates on this? Everyone wants but haven’t seen anything to suggest when it is “planned” for.

Totally agree this is needed. The Last month I had to redo a funding and it was a real pain. I kicked out a report of all the transactions on that date in a CSV file so I could remember what I did, and could re-create most of it and make corrections. It would've been so much easier to just be able to go in there and adjust the one that I already accomplished like we were able to do in MV4. Definitely a big step backwards.

Yes, being able to edit a Fund Envelopes transaction is sorely missed in the new version of Mvelopes. The only option is "Undo" which completely deletes the whole funding transaction. I need to be able to just adjust an envelope or two without losing everything.

This was great function in Mv4, mv5 was a step backwards.

In 4.0 I used to map most of my funds at the start of the month but my groceries and 'weekly personal spending' I would fund on Friday for the next week. If the following week was the end of the month, I'd fund the remainder of the current month's budget and then move the funding date ahead and fund a few days from the upcoming month.
Likewise if I forgot to fund the end of a month I'd just shift the date back and fund whatever budget was left. Now I can no longer see what wasn't funded, and it's making it really hard to track my weekly expenses.

Yes, if you Undo a funding that was based on a profile, it undoes all of the envelopes funded. You could then edit that funding profile and then use it again. But I do like the idea of picking a specific date - or just having it be "smart enough" such that if I have a funding profile set for a given date and my paycheck is deposited, automatically fund based on the funding profile plan.

I like to match the date of funding to the check date and I can't do this like I could before. Now if I don't get around to funding the same day my check is deposited they don't match. Also just being able to edit these transactions in general would be helpful. Sometimes in a manual funding transactions I have accidentally put money in the wrong envelopes. I see an "Undo" button when you go to edit a funding transaction, but that is the only thing I appear to be able to do. Not edit it. Also I'm not exactly sure what would happen if I pushed undo? Would it delete the whole funding transaction?
It's now May 2022. How long are you guys going to sit on this? Where are the updates?
Any update to this? I too have been waiting and hoping for the ability to change the funding date. Please tell me it's going to happen soon.
